Dear Inga, San Francisco’s Eastern European-meets-Californian restaurant will welcome leading Russian culinary scholar Darra Goldstein to celebrate the release of her new book, Beyond the North Wind: Russia in Recipes and Lore. For one evening, Dear Inga will bring the flavors of the book to San Francisco, spotlighting a selection of recipes on their nightly a la carte menu and celebrating the Russian arctic in their “new old world cooking.” Goldstein will be in attendance signing copies.
A bit of the Russian arctic comes to the heart of San Francisco’s Mission district when the evening menu will feature recipes inspired by the book — honest, humble, potently flavorful cooking.
